Executive Committee Nominations

Each year, all Executive Committee positions are open for renomination. This is an opportunity for current and prospective members to contribute to the Indonesia Council’s work, help shape our direction, and support our community.

About the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee leads the Indonesia Council’s work throughout the year, supporting our events, partnerships, advocacy, and community engagement. These positions are central to the Council’s operations and future direction, and we welcome expressions of interest from members who are committed, collaborative, and ready to contribute.

Why Join the Executive Committee?

Serving on the Executive Committee is a chance to make a meaningful contribution to the Indonesian and broader Indonesian-Australian relationship. Members gain experience in leadership, collaboration, planning, and governance while helping strengthen the Council’s impact and reach.

We welcome nominations from members who are engaged with the Indonesia Council’s mission and are interested in contributing in a voluntary leadership capacity. You do not need to have held an Executive Committee position before, but you should be prepared to work collaboratively and commit time to Council activities across the year.
